Informations regarding sponsorship change in Qatar

Dear Readers,

May gods peace and blessing upon you on this blessful ramadan.

Every Indian expat's are thinking about how to change their sponsorship and the requirements for changing the sponsorship in General directorate of passports and Expatriates affairs

whether the Indian expats  Residence permit is not issued in 3 to 4 months after entering inside Qatar.then they have the chance to change their visa to a new sponsorship, so lets find out about SPONSORSHIP CHANGE (for expats having Residence Permit_

Sponsorship normal works in following cases,
  1. From Company sponsorship to Personal sponsorship.
  2. From Personal sponsorship to Company sponsorship.
  3. From Personal sponsorship to Personal sponsorship.
  4. From Company sponsorship to Company sponsorship.


For the above cases,Every expats whether he is Indian or other nationalities ,then if he or she wish to change the sponsorship,then he must notice the below conditions,

Condition:
  1. The expatriate shall complete the term of the employment contract inside the country or the employer may terminate the contract without any legal sanctions on the expatriate.
  2. The expatriate shall complete five years or more with the same employer, in case the contract term is undefined.
  3. If the term of the employment contract is undefined, the approval of the current employer on moving to work for another employer is required in case the expatriate is seeking to terminate the current contract without completing its term or the five years period.
  4. The expatriate shall bring a contract from the new employer


Documents Required for Sponsor change ( Company Sponsorship)
  1. Application Form
  2. Copy of Applicant ID
  3. Required Copies from Old Sponsor. (Computer Card Copy ,Commercial Registration ,Trade License)
  4. Required Copies from Old Sponsor. (Computer Card Copy ,Commercial Registration ,Trade License)
  5. No Objection Certificate form from (Old Sponsor ) 
  6. No Objection Certificate form from (New Sponsor )
The following fees apply:

Changing the employer for first time: QR 2000 for companies.
Changing the employer for second time: QR 2500 for companies.
Changing the employer for third time or more: QR 3000 for companies.


Documents Required for Sponsor change ( Personal Sponsorship)
  1. Application Form
  2. Copy of Applicant ID
  3. ID Copies from (Old Sponsor ) 
  4. ID Copies from (New Sponsor )
  5. No Objection Certificate form from (Old Sponsor ) 
  6. No Objection Certificate form from (New Sponsor )

The following fees apply:
Changing the employer for first time: QR 1000 for individuals.
Changing the employer for second time: QR 1500 for individuals.
Changing the employer for third time or more: QR 2000 for individuals.
